I work in range of disciplines including sculpture, painting and digital imaging. Combining varied materials: metal leaf with coffee stirrers, cherry blossoms with plywood, the work explores complicated relationships. The contradictions provide the tension to examine the cherished and the mundane. Without sentimentality, I attempt to assert the pleasures of the commonplace.
