Unlike most series, where I work on a group of pieces
together, Profile grew after the completion of this piece.
I became fascinated with the simple shape of a roof
top. At the same time I was experimenting with
stripping ink off of magazine pages with solvents and
sanding. The vertical lines in some of the proceeding
pieces is the result of the corrugated cardboard I used
as a drawing board.
