Barricade evolved from my impulse to place rough,
temporary constructions against existing structures. The idea started as a scaffolding of balsa wood under bridges. It progressed to leaning walls blocking passages. At that point I became interested in the arched shape. What appears to be foliage behind the puppet hand is actually the silhouette of smoke that eventually became Leaning Keep |
