Theme: Along The Line

Being perpetually confused the first word in my theme morphed from “Along” into “Across” to finally hovering at “Above”. As a swimmer, it could only mean the lane line. As an assemblage artist, it could only mean the source of my images had to be swimming pools.

I printed images on to tracing paper. In assembling the collages I was struck by how quickly the dismembered picture elements mimic houses and other architectural forms.

I originally intended to replace the pages with my actual collages, which proved to be to thick  and frail. When I printed out scans to organize the pages, I realized I preferred the prints.
