Scheming Gantries

Prints on Tissue Paper with Gold Leaf, Magazine Pages, ~9" x ~11"
These collages are made of fabricated and found elements. The frame work is cut out of magazine pages. The “gantries” are formed by drawing around the subject matter, which is then discarded. The fabricated elements include digital images printed on to acid free tissue paper. The reverse of the tissue is leafed with gold to provide luminosity. Some of the pieces include other printed materials, like the photograph of corrugated cardboard in #7. Painted elements appear in #8 and 9.
