The title speaks more to the act of collage than it does a subtext. Singularly, the images are simple snapshots of moments. With geometric elements, the story is embellished and elaborate. The narrative of the picture has been augmented. They are plucked from the realm of simple images and are now inarguably part of an object.
My non-digital work is concerned with delineating objects and images. I have always felt that paintings and photographs need to occupy a physical presence. Their scale, texture, and surface are as integral as color, content, and composition.
