The series is an omage to early, homemade pornography. With the rise of amateur photography, pictures were circulated privately. Pre Stonewall the risk of being discovered to have homoerotic material was a threat to jobs and housing.
The images are degraded and blurred to evoke snapshots. As precious souvenirs, they are mounted as if in a scrapbook, ready for a scrapbook.
